Sailing on Atlantic Ocean, Winter of 2025

          During school’s winter break of our daughter Shriya Lakshmi decided to take a trip on Atlantic Ocean, along with Shriya’s parents and grandparents. We thought that heading south in Atlantic in February will allow us to avoid deep winter with snow at New York City. We were able to flee from New York City, but not the winter cold.

The Bahamas

          Our first stop in the south was an hour from Orlando, Florida. Port was lot warmer than below freezing of New York. Our car rental wasn’t able to deliver the car on time. 

          Our next stop was at Nassau; Bahamas was nice place to visit. The small island looked nice, and people were friendly to outsiders. It was also a place for very rich visitors who stayed in a high-priced hotel that had restricted access.

            Our third stop at another Bahamas island was canceled because of weather, instead we floated on Atlantic Ocean for days until we returned back to New York City.
